Have you ever faced a difficulty, but, enjoyed it?

Have you ever had moments in your life where you've faced a difficulty, but, actually enjoyed it?  Have you ever looked back at what you went through and actually thanked Allah for putting you through it?  Sometimes we are tested in such a manner that we have no choice but to turn to Allah, we increase in our ibaadah, we become closer to the Qur'an, we begin to depend on Allah alone and we actually look forward to going in sujood and pouring our heart out to Him Who alone can bring comfort to it.


How wise were the words of Sheikh Ibn Taymiyyah (RH) when he said: ‘A calamity that makes you turn to Allah is better for you than a blessing which makes you forget the remembrance of Allah.’

So the next time you face a difficulty in life, smile, because Allah wants you to turn to Him :)
